How to join the WBKA

WBKA is a support organisation for the beekeepers in Wales

If you are a Beekeeper and a member of one of the nineteen member associations which form the Welsh Beekeepers Association. Then you will already be a member of the WBKA and be entitled to receive either a printed or an electronic copy of the Welsh Beekeeper.

WBKA offers its members Public Liability Insurance cover, also known as 3rd Party Liability. A copy of the public liability insurance is accessible from the members help pages to which all members have free access too. (Please check with your Association Secretaries for the current password.)

If you are a Beekeeper and not a member of one of the regional member associations then why not become an individual member of the WBKA, and receive all of the above benefits. In addition, independant membership   includes Bee Disease Insurance which covers 3 Bee Colonies only. Additional insurance cover can be puchased for extra colonies if needed. Please note that BDI will not pay out if a member has more colonies than they are insured for.

Individual applications forms can be downloaded in a pdf format.

There is a dedicated team of trustees and officers of the wbka working tirelessly for its membership.
