75th Anniversary Summer School: July 2018

You are invited to join us in celebrating the WBKA’s 75th Anniversary Friday
13th to Sunday 15th July 2018.

The event is a residential summer school at Aberystwyth University, a modern
day repetition of the beginnings of the WBKA in 1943.

There will be a mixture of lectures, workshops and social activities, as well as
amenities to engage non-beekeeping partners. Attendees will have access to the
University Arts centre which houses a cinema, shops and art galleries.
Saturday evening will see a Gala Dinner in the Medrus Room on the University
Campus.

Look out for further details and booking information early 2018 on the WBKA
website and in beekeeping publications.
Mark your diaries to join us in the celebrations whether as a day guest or for the
whole weekend.

Why not organise a group to come along and share the celebrations with
likeminded friends. 5 star en-suite rooms, every 6 or 8 of which has a large
kitchen and lounge for those who wish to self-cater. For those for whom this is
an opportunity to get away from the kitchen there are a number of cafeterias
around the campus.
